Some LimeCall virtual numbers require KYC to purchase a virtual number and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

When acquiring a new virtual number, those numbers requiring KYC are identified as shown below.

Here's what you need to know:

1. Understanding KYC

KYC is a crucial process for businesses to verify the identity and legitimacy of their customers. This helps prevent fraud, money laundering, and other financial crimes. KYC requirements can vary depending on your location and industry, so it's important to consult with legal or compliance professionals to understand your specific obligations.

2. LimeCall's Role

We integrate with external KYC solutions through its API (Application Programming Interface) or pre-built integrations. This allows you to:

  • Submit and Verify your KYC data: The KYC solution will handle the verification process and securely store the collected information, adhering to relevant data privacy regulations.

How to submit your KYC Information for verification

When purchasing a number that requires KYC, follow this process:

  • Select Add KYC: A new window will open.

  • Select whether you are applying as an individual or business and complete the form. Don't forget to add all supporting documents.

  • Select 'Add KYC' once complete.

The LimeCall team will then submit and verify your information and your new virtual number will be added and displayed in 'Numbers'.
